The crew at Bartlett Brainard Products have once again proven why they are the premier home remodelers in West Hartford. Our 30 year old deck had seen better days and with their input we came up with an improved design that would require minimal maintenance, better function, and look great. The crew removed the old deck, built the new substructure which was inspected by the town building inspector and deemed to be “wow, this is really sturdy”. Using Wolf composite decking and black aluminum railings they constructed a gorgeous deck, despite the less than ideal weather conditions, that exceeded our expectations. The crew were a pleasure to work with, pleasant and courteous.

Bartlett Brainard did a fabulous job on the exterior of my home! The project included new roofing, siding, gutters, and several window replacements. We were reluctant to replace our cedar siding with vinyl, but we worked closely with Bartlett to achieve a look that is both aesthetically pleasing – and maintenance free. I loved working with them. They came to my home prepared and knowledgeable. We needed to replace our front door but I wasn’t sure what style I wanted. I would highly recommend Bartlett Brainard for your roofing needs. They did a great job of explaining the process and the materials that were going to use for the roof. They helped me pick the right tiles with my color preferences. They helped me deal with my insurance company and were always there to answer my questions. The roof installers took good care of my yard and left it spotless. They even moved my outdoor decorations away from the house so nothing would get damaged. I am very pleased with my new roof. We had an excellent experience with Bartlett Brainard. Heavy branches that broke off in a windstorm had destroyed our old and brittle siding and the entire house needed to be resided. The whole B-B team was great: the analysis of what needed to be done was thorough and professional with options and recommendations explained clearly, the work crew was efficient and responsive to any questions or concerns I had, minor surprises encountered during the project were quickly and competently addressed, the work was done on schedule, cleanup was excellent, and our 95-year old house looks beautiful! Also want to mention the great job they did in helping to convince a low-balling and very stubborn insurance company to ultimately cover 100% of the cost of the job.
